How long is the recompression? How long do I have to wait for to the end of the job?
It depends on the size of your source file size. You have to know the program has to reencode your movie and it's very stressing process for each computer. So it also depends on how stable your OS is and how powerful your machine is. If you decide to reencode 700 MB clip you may have to wait 1,5 - 3 hours for the final AVI. But using new multicore processors it is possible to recompress one movie within 15 minutes.
