I'm trying to paste subtitles to a certain movie. didn't change anything in the audio section. when I saw the preview, the audio was there and everything was great. but after the process was finished, I opened the final file with the media player and there was just no sound. any ideas?
Thanks. Have you got temporary files created by AVI ReComp? As I can see they should be stored in "My Videos\Shakespeare in Love.avi_AVI ReComp_temp\". There you will find both: video and audio stream files. If ARC was not able to mux the streams you can always do it manually using VirtualDubMod. Just check if the files are there and whether they are not corrupted. Greets, Prozac
hmmm I did it again, and I just noticed there are no subtitles. which is very weird, with all the files so far I have pasted subs to, all worked but this one. no subs, no audio...

Are you sure you are trying to play the right file? Output file: D:\Documents and Settings\אווה\My Documents\My Videos\Shakespeare in Love.avi Greets, Prozac

Did you configure the position of the subs? The default puts them off the visible screen so you can't see them.

By the look of the file sizes the audio is not getting muxed, unless the audio file is zero bytes?
Can you post a gspot270a screenshot please. Does the audio file in the temp folder play? if it not zero bytes, can you mux it manually? regards..
