Recently I have noticed a problem when replying in that if preview is used the larger input box that is deployed thereafter suffers from an inability to display the bottom few lines of text for any time before auto-scrolling up to only display the middle of the passage.
Of course this only occurs if the length of the text exceeds that which can be displayed without scrolling.
Anybody else seeing this? Could it be my browser misbehaving. I'm using Slimbrowser. regards..

Yeah it looks like it was/is some kind of Slimbrowser glitch. I've also had problems with the back button not working properly but only sometimes and only at some sites.
Since re-installing it seems better but I'm stll really testing it. I would like to move to Firefox but I am findng it really hard to get on with. I mean why the hell have such massively sized tabs, why open new sites in the same tab and all these damn plug-ins..........jeeeze! regards..

To answer some of my own FF grouses: about:config in firefox's address bar gives access to firefox's config.
Setting browser tab min and browser tab max to 100 makes the tabs an acceptable looking size.
Clicking on a link by clicking with the mousewheel will open it in a new tab. Whoever thought of this as the default instead of using mousebutton 1 needs to be castrated with a couple of housebricks.
What is the point of tabbed browsing when left mouse always opens the link in the existing tab? OK maybe, for some reason, some people want to work this way but why not make it configurable.
I think the way it handles favourites is pathetic. I importedmy favourites from slimbrowser and whats firefox done, it put them all in a separate folder. WHY? And then from the bookmarks dropdown it gives me, recently bookmarked, recently tagged, a folder for my imported bookmarks and a plethora of other unwanted bloat. All I want is a single page to appear with all my stuff on it.
Look how neatly Slimbrowser handles it.
Well Slimbrowser seems to be behaving itself now so, except for playing Quake Live online, I can forget about "still as clunky as Netscape but faster Fox" and resume browsing with Slimbrowser.
