After starting the recomp process, and even though it is written that the job is "running" - and "demuxing video stream" - there is no sign of progression and no "time remaining"... No indication that something is really going on
There is nothing in your log to indicate a problem. Is that log complete? How much time are you giving for ARC to demux and save the video before deciding the app has hung.
Does this happen with every movie you try to recompress. regards..

Thank you. It is running for more than an hour and still the progression bar is empty. I can't say if it hung or what is happening at all. No indication whatsoever. Same "running" and "demuxing". I can't tell if is working or hung...
Earlier this day I had an erorr msg saying that it could not initiate some commands that are within "avutil-49.dll" so I changed this file no a newer one and this error vanished...
Thanks for posting all the details. I suspect that your job is running correctly. But ARC is not able to estimate the progress of the job. ARC is trying to measure the increment of the file size (demuxed video, audio etc.). So probably something is blocking the access to these new created temporary files This is the first report of this kind so we need to investigate this issue further. Greets, Prozac
Thank you. Actually - it doesn't run. It says running.. but does nothing. It was like this for 9 hours... till I stopped the program. Nothing was done...
Sorry.. I meant to say that the problem is VirtualDubMod that doesn't work. I installed VirtualDub and this on is working... So there must be some conflict with VirtualDubMod.
